The Flava People

As with all good stories ours too starts with sausages, or sausage skins to be exact. Former Manchester City goalkeeper Roy transferred his skilled hands from footballs to butchers blocks in 1976, selling sausage skins to local butchers from the Dixon family kitchen.

As the business grew, Roy & his son Gary began mixing seasoning blends in a friend’s Kenwood Chef mixer. Very quickly it became apparent a much larger mixer was required to keep up with increasing demand, which eventually led to the construction of our current purpose built manufacturing site.

Now, still family owned and in our third generation, we use our NPD department (which is second to none in our opinion!) to craft everything from sauces and seasonings to crumbs and coaters for our partners in the butchery, retail, industrial & restaurant sector.

We would be more than happy to assist you on any project, from the simple product developments & smaller low value one off orders, through to the larger contracts.
